A Collaborative Art World Benefits Everyone: The Vision Behind Artlogic’s Connect ’24

The art world thrives on collaboration, shared knowledge, and building connections. While it’s often seen as exclusive and hard to access, my experience over the past year as CEO of Artlogic has shown otherwise. Our community of over 10,000 users, from galleries and advisors to collectors and artists, has been incredibly open and supportive, proving that collaboration is at the core of this industry.

That’s why we’re excited to launch Artlogic Connect ’24, a first-of-its-kind online conference from November 19 to 21, featuring over 50 speakers and 15 sessions — all free.

We’ll kick Connect off with the first day being dedicated to diving deep into the changing power dynamics of the art world. Bestselling author and Yale professor Magnus Resch will moderate a panel on how artists are increasingly taking control of their market presence, whilst Jeffrey Boloten of Sotheby’s Institute will lead a discussion with top dealers on how smaller galleries can compete in a market dominated by larger enterprises.

On the second day, we’ll explore how the art world is breaking boundaries — not just geographically, but also across industries. Jennifer Ellis, curator of the 2024-25 Frieze Breguet booth, will discuss how dealers can work with luxury brands in ways that are both commercially viable and curatorially thoughtful. Thomas Marks, former editor of Apollo, will also share strategies for galleries to strengthen their relationships with institutions.

Our final day is all about looking forward. Tim Schneider, founder of the Gray Market, will highlight key market trends to watch in 2025, while art lawyer Simon Oldfield will lead a panel to clear up myths surrounding anti-money laundering regulations.

We’ve got many more speakers and panels that will be announced soon, so join us at Artlogic Connect ’24 and be part of the conversation.

This is your invitation — whether you’re a gallery, dealer, or artist — if you’re ready to learn, grow, and connect, we welcome you.
