Destiny’s Child is going as strong as ever. The chart-topping girl group reunited over the weekend to support Michelle Williams at opening night of Death Becomes Her, the new Broadway musical that’s getting rave reviews (based on the 1992 cult classic comedy that Sabrina Carpenter parodied in her video for “Taste”).
The show is a diva-off, and there are no losers. Williams plays Viola Van Horn, a version of Isabella Rossellini’s character from the film, though her name and some other aspects have been changed.
I’m not drooling over the costumes, you are.
“My Belle,” Beyoncé captioned a series of photos from the trip to the Lunt-Fontanne Theater.
She and fellow child of destiny Kelly Rowland saw the show alongside Bey’s mom, Tina Knowles (a Glamour Woman of the Year!) The post has all the classic trappings of a “saw my friend’s show” slideshow, like a video of the digital poster, a picture of the inside of the playbill, and a sneaky snap from curtain call.
