Khloé Kardashian is the proudest mom on Instagram. And rightfully so! The denim mogul and reality star finally gave followers their first good look at her son’s face. In a sweet birthday tribute to the child’s father—basketball player Tristan Thompson—Kardashian showed a softer side of her on-and-off ex.
“Happy birthday @realtristan13,” she wrote. “You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles.”
Kardashian ended the note with a nod to her complicated history with Thompson. “My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation,” she continued. “Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”

The former couple welcomed their second child via surrogate roughly six months after news broke that Thompson had fathered another child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols in December 2021—the latest in a string of previous infidelities. During the season-two premiere of The Kardashians, Khloé revealed to sister Kim Kardashian that her surrogate was likely already pregnant when she found out about Thompson’s latest indiscretion. Kardashian and Thompson also share four-year-old daughter True Thompson.
Kardashian has yet to announce the newborn’s name, in keeping with sister Kylie Jenner’s tradition of waiting. But the mother of two has confirmed the name will start with a T. “[Khloé] is taking her time with the name. She wants it to be just right,” a source told People in August of last year. “Khloé is on cloud nine. Getting a sibling for True has been such a journey. She is very excited to be a mom again. She really wanted a baby boy.”
