You live, you learn, and you move on with a smile. Unless you’re Meghan Trainor, that is, and your regret is a teensy bit too much Botox. On the November 20 episode of the Workin’ on It podcast, which she hosts with her brother Ryan Trainor, the pop star said she âcannot smile anymoreâ due to âtoo much Botox.â
âI need help,â the 30-year-old joked. âI messed up.” To stress the point, Trainor then looked at the camera and attempted her toothiest grin. âLook, this is as big as I can smile.â

Her honesty did not stop there. Trainor also opened up about her desire to get a boob job after having two kids, as well as her regretful experience getting her lips done, specifically the âlip flipâ procedure. âSomeone convinced me with my little lips that if you did a lip flip, you put [Botox] right above your upper lip, that you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip,â she said. âIt was not true.â
Lucky for Trainor, the freezing effects of many âtweakmentsââespecially neuromodulators like Botoxâbecome less apparent over time; and this âwearing offâ does not impact the long-term benefits of Botox when it comes to preventing wrinkles from appearing in the first place.
Meghan Trainor is far from the only celebrity to open up publicly about her cosmetic procedures. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Olivia Culpo are among the dozens of women in Hollywood who are creating a more honest dialogue about cosmetic enhancements. And while not all of them regret their procedures, some, like Trainor and Courteney Cox, have âlearned lessonsâ through their public trial and error.
