Taylor Swift’s birthday weekend will not continue at Huntington Bank Field.
It appears Swift has opted to skip Travis Kelce’s latest away game as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Cleveland Browns on December 15. This should not come as a massive surprise, considering the pop star has yet to attend any of the Chiefs’ away games this season, even during breaks from her busy touring schedule.
“Official word from stadium security is that Taylor Swift is not attending today’s game,” Associated Press sports writer Tom Withers reported prior to the game. Although Withers noted that he’s “been lied to before” and that “lucky media members” would be “continuing our Swift stakeout” regardless, Swift has not been spotted as of 1:30 pm ET.

While some fans expected Swift to embrace a bit of football-related travel after The Eras Tour wrapped up on December 8, sources recently told Us Weekly that Swift plans to “hibernate” with Kelce for a while. “Taylor’s exhausted,” the source said. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
After Swift paid a visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital on December 12, she and Kelce reportedly celebrated her milestone birthday “just them two.” Although Travis Kelce was spotted at the Chiefs “mandatory” Christmas Party on the 13th, a source told Page Six that the 35-year-old NFL player left the party early to “be with Taylor for her birthday.” Of course, the source says “he got her a ton of gifts.”
Unless Taylor Swift plans to roll out her last two (Taylor’s Version) albums in the next few weeks, Chiefs home games may be your chance to catch a glimpse at the pop star until the new year. Luckily, the Chiefs take on the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium on December 21.
However, it seems her hibernation plans might not include Christmas. According to Us Weekly, Swift hopes to bring their families together for the holiday—which means the entire Swift and Kelce crew will likely attend the Chiefs game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25. As Donna Kelce once said, “football is family.”
